unexspected visitor

It came unexpectedly. Golf ball size hail stones fall on the car. All run for cover. I can fill the wind cut across my face, sharp as a knife, knocking me all around. Skies dark as night make it seem quite eerie. Ghostly figures sway all around. Rain and hail come down hard. A serpant like funnel comes from the clouds and slowely aprroaches earth. Crying in the front seat, i wonder if we will make it home. I watch as the funnel slowly forms into a horrible tornado, destroying everything in its path.Coming face to face with terror, praying it will be ok. Almost to shelter, just a few more miles. the wind howls outside the car, Uproted trees, and turned, over cars, make it seem less escapable now. Turning the curb, stopping dead in the road, rain to hard to see.
A tiny girl in the fron seat, asking why does this have to be me? Bowing her head and closing her eyes, she prays god be with me. Almost as soonas it had come, it vanishes. A monster of a storm destroying everything in its path, and disappearing with a flash. The sun shines bright, though clouds disappearing, there's a rainbow ahead. She smiles and says "thank you god......im not dead"
